He creates powerful and endlessly imaginative commercials, with a thrillingly versatile body of work. On the one hand you have people floating in a dreamlike state for the SONY and ZAIN MBB commercials, on the other hand a sexy choreographically piece with a flirtatious photographer for his FORD KUGA Spot.
His work includes commercials for major clients such as Nike, Sony, Ford, Zain. Clarks, The Times, Google, Sports England, Thorpe Park, Fujitsu, Tesla and Virgin Trains.
Mike’s campaign for Madeira tourism picked up a number of awards including the Werbe Grand Prix, and a digital campaign for Thorpe Park won a BIMA award.
Mike originally studied and worked in motion design, moving image branding and VFX at companies such as The Mill and Smoke & Mirrors, creating identities and promos for tv channels before moving into music videos. His background is evident in his attention to detail and ability to approach many different genre's from a fresh angle and steer projects all the way from shoot to post production.
Mike is hard to pigeon-hole because he has mastered a wide spectrum of genres. Collectively his work demonstrates a versatility of working within different styles, be it drama, performance, kids, smart visual effects or visually cinematic work.
